Description:
In a dystopian future, a water shortage has led to a government-led ban on private toilets. Everyone is forced to use public restrooms, which are regulated by a single, evil company (Urine Good Company) that charges outrageous fees for people to take care of their most basic need. Heroic Bobby Strong leads a revolution to overtake this evil empire, so that everyone—rich or poor—can pee freely. Urinetown is a musical satire of the legal system, capitalism, bureaucracy, and musical theatre itself.
