Description: <p>&ldquo;The King of Staten Island&rdquo; – (2020. 136 minutes. R). Comedy powerhouse Jud Apatow serves up a bracing ode to love, loss, laughter and New York&rsquo;s forgotten borough, Staten Island. A drifting wannabe tattoo artist (SNL&rsquo;s Pete Davidson), stuck in a phase of arrested development , has yet to process the death of his first responder father on 9/11. When his mother (Marisa Tomei) becomes romantically involved, he is forced to grapple with his grief and move forward. With Bill Burr, Bel Bowley and Steve Buscemi. Cinema Under the Stars is an intimate outdoor movie theater, located directly behind Tops Salon in Mission Hills. Admission is $17 for members, $18 at the box office, or $20 online (pay with cash, check, or Venmo only). Seating is limited and reservations are recommended. Members may make phone reservations (up to one week in advance). Online reservations begin at 9 a.m. Mondays for Members, and at 9 a.m. Tuesdays for non-members. The box office opens at 6 p.m. on Friday, Saturday and Sunday. Popcorn, candy and assorted hot and cold drinks sell for $2 each and a classic cartoon is screened before most films. Heaters and blankets are provided to keep you warm. Free popcorn for Members. Important: Due to the current Health Guidelines for Coronavirus, we have rearranged our seating for your comfort and safety. Everyone must wear a facial mask when entering and exiting the theater and maintain a 6 feet distance, until seated. Once you are seated, you may remove your masks. Come early to avoid a line.
