Description:
Racial Resilience is an anti-racism training seminar with the primary goal of becoming an anti-racist member of society. We will utilize compassion-based contemplative practices to teach participants critical race theories. Collectively, these two aspects will hone our capacity to define, identify, and sustainably dismantle internalized, interpersonal, and structural racism. What to expect: Authentic storytelling and research-based content Compassionate space for holding uncomfortable truths Tools for cultivating compassion for self and others Small group discussion Guided meditation What not to expect: Forced participation Shaming, blame, or judgment Political agendas *Graceconomics – We believe the value of this experience ranges up to $400, but we know that would be prohibitive for everyone God is calling to this work of grounding and transformation. We also know that there are many who have the resources and would be happy to help underwrite the costs of others who don’t have the means right now. Eric Law calls this practice "GracEconomics." All are called to give as led by Grace. Gifts payable with cash, checks, Venmo or online donation.
