Description: <p>On November 15, 1919, John D. Spreckels drove the &ldquo;Gold Spike&rdquo; completing the San Diego &amp; Arizona Railway, America&rsquo;s last transcontinental railroad. What an exciting time for Southern California&rsquo;s history! In honor of this momentous occasion, the Pacific Southwest Railway Museum has planned a variety of exciting activities throughout 2019 to commemorate this historic event. These events will include a series of celebrations starting on September 7 and culminating November 16.</p>
