Description: <p>On November 15, 1919, John D. Spreckels drove the “Gold Spike” completing the San Diego & Arizona Railway, America’s last transcontinental railroad. What an exciting time for Southern California’s history! In honor of this momentous occasion, the Pacific Southwest Railway Museum has planned a variety of exciting activities throughout 2019 to commemorate this historic event. These events will include a series of celebrations starting on September 7 and culminating November 16.</p>
