Description: <p>Moderately strenuous, long distance educational hike. Docent Randy Boyer has many years of hiking and backpacking experience in the Lake Tahoe basin, North Lake Tahoe, eastern Sierra, Yosemite, Death Valley, Joshua Tree, eastern Arizona, and western Utah. Hiking groups will depart from the Interpretive Center at 8:15 a.m. (please arrive at 8:00 a.m.) and will return to the main lot approximately three hours. Participants are urged to come prepared for a moderately strenuous hike that will maintain a pace of 2.5 mph.</p>
