Description: <p>Matthew Schum (curator) and Armando Lerma will be there to celebrate the mural Armando created. Casual food and beverage will be provided. “What I came up with is an image that represents a story that plays out over a few hundred years or so. The main character is a young woman depicted in a vintage comic book style. She is surrounded by images that represent indigenous culture from the San Diego area as well as references to the arrival of Spanish/European culture.”</p>
