Individuals do not need an appointment or a prescription from a physician to test for the coronavirus. Testing will be available on a first-come-first-serve basis, and they will accept walk-ups. Individuals will be required to fill out a registration form and pay in cash on-site. Medicare and Medicaid insurance holders qualify for free testing. Priced at $100, the Nucleic acid test (by high-throughput PCR), a molecular test that determines if someone is currently infected with the coronavirus, will be performed by a Phamatech laboratory technician using the FDA EUA authorized Thermofisher PCR method using a nasal swab sample.
