Description: <p>Psychedelia is an hour-long documentary film about the history of therapeutic research into psychoactive substances. The film chronicles psychoactives’ use in controlled medical research studies prior to the cultural upheaval of the 1960s, at a time when psychoactive medicines, including native North American mushroom species, were widely regarded as among the most promising advancements in the discipline of psychiatry transforming our mental health. The first screening will be followed by a live panel discussion of researchers and therapists in the field. The panel will be recorded and sent to those who come to the 9:15 screening. There are limited number of seats at each viewing.</p>
