Description: <p>Warwick’s will host Transitioning To Newer Normals: How Kids’ Books and Authors Can Help with authors Chris Baron, Matt de la Peña, Dr. Virginia Loh-Hagan, Sally J. Pla, and Minh Lê. Chris Baron is a professor of English at San Diego City College. He is the author of <em>The Magical Imperfect </em>and <em>All of Me. </em>Matt de la Peña is the Newbery Medal-winning author of <em>Last Stop on Market Street</em>. Dr. Virginia Loh-Hagan is an author, former K-8 teacher, university professor, and current Director of the Asian Pacific Islander Desi American (APIDA) Center at San Diego State University. Sally J. Pla is the author of the novels The <em>Someday Birds, Stanley Will Probably Be Fine,</em> and the picture book, <em>Benji, the Bad Day and Me.</em> Minh Lê is an author and national early childhood policy expert. He wrote <em>Green Lantern: Legacy, Lift </em>(illustrated by Dan Santat), and <em>Drawn Together </em>(also illustrated by Santat).</p>
