Description: <p>While the Getty isn’t particularly known for its female artists, a deeper look has yielded roughly 35 surprises including painters, sculptors and photographers. Some of the names are familiar such as Artemesia Gentilleschi, Elisabeth Vigée Le Brun and Dorothea Lange, but how about Jeanne de Montbaston, Barbara Regina Dietszch or Anna Children Atkins?
