Description: <p><em>The Story of Plastic</em> is a new documentary film that takes a sweeping look at the man-made crisis of plastic pollution and the worldwide effect it has on the health of our planet and the people who inhabit it. It serves as a tool to foster connection, spark dialogue, and create action. Join the global movement to ban plastics for good. The Story of Plastic (95-minute run time) screening link will be available June 1-4, to those who register. It will be followed by a Zoom webinar panel discussion on June 4 from 7:00-7:50 pm, featuring U.S. Representative Mike Levin, Carlsbad City Councilmember Priya Bhat- Patel, Michael Doshi from Algalita, Alex Ferron from Surfrider, and Jessica Waite of “The Plot” in Oceanside.
