Description: Instructor: Amy Becraft | A house is a building for human habitation. In this 2-part class, build a house structure for your thoughts and ideas which you’ll embellish with found pieces of type, text, musical notes, letters, punctuation, sewing patterns, symbols, pages of books and poems, etc. Layer your found ephemera to set the scene or story for your house. In the second meeting, build an accordion book where you’ll continue to apply your found ephemera to tell your inner journey. Your book fits neatly inside the structure to represent your inner house. By the end of the class, you will have a wonderful piece that tells a visual story, encapsulates your thoughts, memories, visions, and creativity. Please register in advance.
