Description: Instructor: Hayley Haspel-Winick | Come get messy with mother nature and unearth the art of natural dyeing. Explore the technique of bundle dyeing, using flowers and plant-based food scraps to infuse natural pigment into fiber. You are welcome to bring a small cotton garment: onesie for a baby, t-shirt, or bandana. Pre-wash the cotton pieces in hot water with vinegar and detergent. For use in your bundle, gather and bring your favorite colorful flower heads and petals, onion skins, berries, purple carrots, purple cabbage; basically anything in the red/purple family that you have in your kitchen. Please register in advance.
