Description: <p>Celebrate three years of nerdifying San Diego! It’s a special night of Conservation + Comics: Learn Science. Make Art. Drink Beer. Conservation + Comics is an innovative science education workshop that connects people to conservation science through the medium of comic books. In the first part, you will learn about conservation concerns, such as the loss of biodiversity or climate change. In the second part, you’ll create comics that communicate the science just learned. In partnership with the non-profit Little Fish Comic Book Studio, all art materials and instruction are free – and audience participation will be strongly encouraged.</p>
