Description:
During the first millennium before the Common Era, the Celtic Civilization extended across Europe from the British Isles to Turkey. Who were the Celts? What kind of culture did they have? What is their legacy? Join engineer, archaeologist and geologist Henry George to explore those questions and the origin of the Celts, their prehistory, history, material culture, languages, and belief systems. The presentation will conclude with a look at the Celtic peoples of today, many of whom have descendants in America. This presentation is free and open to the public, and there is no need to pre-register.
