Description: <p>Cognitive Dissonance featuring innovative works for a rotating ensemble for woodwinds, strings, percussion, and electronics. Ariana Warren curates this concert for San Diego New Music after many years of being involved in the local music community. In the title of the concert, Warren references the cognitive dissonance many are feeling post-pandemic: “The last two years feel like such a black hole and now everything is back; it is like it never happened while we’re also profoundly affected by it. We feel the jolt of the real world returning, but different than it was.”</p>
