Description:
Stranded in Another Continent During the Lockdown: It all started with a book reading at Warwick’s. The book Witness, The Liberian Civil War through the Eyes of a Child was the inspiration for our trip to West Africa. Due to the Corona Lockdown our journey developed into an unforeseen adventure in an orphanage in the bushland. We will share our experience and images with you and answer your questions. Urs and Ursula Baumann. When they were young, he was originally trained as a French Chef and she was dancing as a professional Ballerina on stage. They both shared the enthusiasm of traveling and became flight attendants; they met, they got married, they fulfilled a common dream when they moved to the US in 2002. They now live in La Jolla and every now and then take "the road less traveled." The free meeting will be online via Zoom, register at link.
