Description: <p>Grossmont College Career Technical Education and Workforce Development (CTE) will present its Virtual Summer Academy. Students who are interested in CTE careers are invited to hear from industry and education experts and get a jump start on course enrollment information for Fall 2020. The Virtual Summer Career Academy event will provide an avenue for anyone interested in exploring exciting careers in Administration of Justice; Business Administration; Child Development, Education, and Family Studies; Computer Science and Information Systems; Culinary Arts; Drone Technology; Entrepreneurship; Hospitality and Tourism; International Business; Marketing; Management; and Programmable Logic Controller (PLC). The public will interact with the education and industry experts during this 2-day event, learning more about career options and services. Including interactive activities, industry panel, and breakout sessions, campus resource information, and an employer information session. The Summer Career Academy will be held via Zoom conferencing. All interested in attending, please register in advance. Students and parents/guardians are welcome to join.
