The History of the SD Union Tribune &amp; a whirlwind look at SD&rsquo;s Historical Journalism: The San Diego Union Tribune has been chronicling the happenings in San Diego since 1868 and the story of how it formed is in itself quite newsworthy. From its origins in Old Town, to its role in shaping New Town San Diego learn about the history of The San Diego Union Tribune. Historian Sandee Wilhoit and Visitor Services Coordinator Jamie Laird will delve into the whirlwind history of the beginnings of Journalism in early San Diego.</p>
