Description: <p>The 6-Foot Book Program is a 2-week in-person art and literacy opportunity for middle & high school students. Each intensive program will culminate in the creation of ten over-sized books (one per student). These books will measure 6 x 10 feet and will be written and illustrated by students. In addition, at the end of the five sessions, every student’s book will be photographed and compiled together into a single volume 8.5” x 11” monograph (art book). Students will each receive a copy of the monograph and the giant books will be accepted into the Athenaeum’s permanent collection.</p>
